Emsculpt in Chicago
Emsculpt is a non-invasive body sculpting treatment that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology to stimulate intense, repeated muscle contractions. Chicago Body Contouring offers Emsculpt (sometimes called Emsculpting) in Chicago for clients who want to support improved muscle tone and definition in areas such as the abdomen and buttocks. It is not a weight-loss treatment and does not replace exercise.
How Emsculpt Body Sculpting Works
During a 30-minute session, an applicator is secured over the treatment area while you lie comfortably. The device delivers electromagnetic energy that causes strong, repeated muscle contractions, which many clients describe as an intense, workout-like tightening. Emsculpt is typically scheduled as a series of sessions, and changes in muscle tone develop gradually.
Emsculpt Treatment Areas
Emsculpt is most commonly used on the abdomen and buttocks. Ask about other areas during your consultation, since suitability depends on the applicator, your goals and your health history.
Emsculpt vs. Endermologie and Endosphères
Emsculpt focuses on muscle. Its purpose is to stimulate contractions that support muscle tone and definition. Endermologie and Endosphères Therapy are mechanical treatments focused on skin texture, the appearance of cellulite and lymphatic support. What to Expect
There is no downtime, and most clients return to normal activities right away. Mild muscle soreness, similar to after a workout, is common for a day or two. Your first visit includes a consultation about your goals and health history.
Is Emsculpt Right for You?
Emsculpt is not appropriate for everyone. Please do not book if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator or other implanted electronic device, or have metal implants in or near the treatment area (including a copper IUD for abdominal treatments). Share your full health history, including any recent surgery, during your consultation.
