Body Wraps in Chicago

Body wraps are a relaxing, non-invasive treatment for skin that looks smoother and firmer. At Chicago Body Contouring in Lincoln Park, we've offered non-invasive body treatments since 2016, and wraps are one of the simplest ways to get a temporary boost before an event or alongside an ongoing treatment series.

Results from a body wrap are temporary. Wraps are not a weight-loss treatment and are not a substitute for medical care.

What to expect

You'll lie back while bandages are wrapped snugly around the treatment areas, usually the stomach, thighs, and arms. The cold wrap uses a chilled botanical solution; the warm wrap uses a warming one. Most clients find the session relaxing, and there's no downtime afterward.

Many clients choose the cold wrap when they want a firmer, tighter look, and the warm wrap when they want a relaxing treatment that leaves skin feeling smoother. Results from either are temporary.

That makes wraps a good choice before an event, or as a complement to an Endermologie or Endosphères series.

"This is truly my happy place for my body, mind and soul. It's my first must stop after my frequent air travels, treat to myself in between trips, and a secret trick before important events. It makes me feel and look better."

Who should not book a body wrap

Warm wraps are not suitable if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, have active cancer, or are claustrophobic, since the wrap is snug and covers much of the body.

Cold wraps are not suitable during pregnancy.

Before booking, please tell us about any medical conditions, medications, implanted devices, or recent procedures. We'll go over your health history at your consultation, and some treatments may need to be postponed or adjusted.

Common questions

How long do body wrap results last?

Results are temporary and vary from person to person. Most clients book a wrap before an event or as part of an ongoing routine rather than expecting lasting change.

What should I wear?

Wear loose, comfortable clothing you can easily put back on afterward. Disposable underwear is provided for your treatment.

How often can I have a body wrap?

There's no strict limit. Many clients book one before an event, and others come in regularly alongside an Endermologie or Endosphères series. We'll suggest a schedule at your consultation.

Do body wraps help with weight loss?

No. Body wraps are a cosmetic treatment for the look and feel of the skin. They are not a weight-loss treatment and are not a substitute for medical care.

What's the difference between the warm and cold wrap?

The cold wrap is 45 minutes and is chosen for a tightening, firming effect on the look of the skin. The warm wrap is 60 minutes and is a warming treatment that supports the body's natural processes and leaves skin looking smoother.
